We collect as little as we can. If you join the waitlist, that means your email address and the role you pick. If you ask to talk to us as a curator, institution or builder, it also means your name, organisation and anything you choose to tell us.
Who we are
Kedar is developed by KR Technologies LLC. We decide how and why your personal data is used. If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, we are the "controller" of your data under the GDPR.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the kedar.finance website, the early access waitlist and requests to talk to our team. The Kedar protocol and app will have their own privacy notice, which we'll publish before launch.

We don't use cookies, tracking pixels or analytics that identify you. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
We never ask for wallet keys or recovery phrases, and this website doesn't connect to your wallet.
How we use it
- To run the waitlist: giving you a number and an invite link, crediting referrals, and inviting people in order.
- To email you about early access: launch timing, your invite, and important product updates.
- To reply to requests: answering curators, institutions and builders who ask to talk to us.
- To prevent abuse: stopping bots and fake signups.
We never sell your personal information and never share it with advertisers. We don't show your email to the people you invite or to the person who invited you.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the website and waitlist, under contracts that require them to keep it confidential and secure:
- Vercel Inc. hosts the website.
- Upstash Inc. stores the waitlist and request database.
- An email delivery provider sends early access emails. We'll name it on request.
We'll also disclose data if the law requires it. If KR Technologies LLC is involved in a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the new owner, and this policy will continue to apply.
How long we keep it
Until early access opens for you and you've had a chance to sign up, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you don't sign up within 12 months of your invite, we delete your details. Requests to talk to us are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical logs are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
EEA and UK residents also have the right to restrict or object to how we use your data, and to receive it in a portable format. We email you based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, and keep technical logs based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email aston@kedar.finance from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within 30 days.
International transfers
We and our providers are based in the United States. If you're outside the US, your data is transferred there. For EEA and UK residents, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS only, and the waitlist database is encrypted at rest and accessible only to the people who run the waitlist. If a breach puts your data at risk, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Children
Kedar is for adults. Don't join the waitlist if you're under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you by email first.
